Terms of trade
Minimum order, pricing and payment terms are agreed per account. Lead time depends on what is on the bench when the order lands. Everything is made to order, so nothing ships from stock. Freight is quoted at cost.
These are the general terms. What actually applies to you is what is written on your account, agreed when it was opened, and it is shown on your dashboard. Where the two differ, your account wins.
Pricing
Trade pricing is set per account and is confidential. It is expressed as a discount from the retail price of the same item, so a change in retail moves both together.
Prices are quoted and invoiced in Australian dollars. Where the site shows another currency it is a conversion for reference only.
Your discount is fixed against an order at the moment it is placed. Renegotiating terms later does not change an order already raised.
Orders
An order placed here is a request, not a binding order. It becomes one when it is confirmed, with a lead time, and you will be told before anything is started.
That is deliberate. Everything is made by hand to order, so how long yours takes depends on what is already on the bench, and promising a date before looking would mean guessing.
You can quote your own purchase order reference against any order.
Lead time
Confirmed per order. Nothing ships from stock because nothing is made in advance. Holiday periods and school breaks book out early.
Freight
Charged at cost. Sent trackable with signature on delivery unless you have a PO box. Risk passes on delivery to the address you gave.
Payment
Payment terms are set against your account. Until terms are agreed, orders are on a proforma invoice, meaning they are paid before work starts.
Title in the goods passes on payment in full.
Faults and returns
Anything made here gets its facing looked at again for nothing, and that does not expire. If a piece is not right, send it back and it gets sorted.
Made to order goods are not returnable simply because they did not sell. Talk to me before assuming otherwise, because there is usually something that can be done.
Still to be confirmed
Minimum order quantities, standard payment terms and the full returns policy are agreed per account and have not been set as blanket figures. They are left blank here rather than invented.
